Standard Repairs

What are Standard Repairs?

Standard Repairs refer to routine or commonly performed fixes aimed at restoring equipment, machinery, systems, or structures to their proper working condition after minor damage, wear, or malfunctions. These repairs are typically scheduled or conducted in response to observed issues, without involving complex overhauls or extensive diagnostics. Stanard repiars could be as simple as replacing air conditioning filters, beer taps or the nozzles on spray misters, right up to complex works which might involve the replacement of key refrigeration components (ie. Condensors or Thermostats) or complex repairs on Glycol systems, split system airconiditioning units or evapoarative air conditioning units. These are more commonly referred to as Major Repairs but they still fit within out standard repair defintiion.

Standard Repairs vs Warranty Repairs

In most instances, the work you get the O’Connells team to undertake will either fall in to one of two categories – Standard Repairs or Warranty Repairs. Unless your systems are incredibly old, the team at O’Connells recommend checking on your warranty status to see if things can be repaired under warranty.

If they can’t then a Standard Repair service from the O’Connells team will get things going as soon as possible in the event of an outage.

Standard repairs provided by the O’Connells team are much the same as any other service provider in terms of the process – The problem will be triaged and a repair method selected. If replacement parts are required we will be provide them from stock or order them if (if less common). If the spare parts are available from stock, then the repair works will commence. If they have to be ordered in then the works will commence as soon as they arrive.

Once the resolution has been fully tested and you are happy with it, the work will be deemed to be complete and advice given on how best to keep things running smoothly.

Where O’Connells differs from other service providers in the area is through the value over 50 years of experience provides to the team. The team leverage this extensive experience on a day-to-day basis to provide faster resolutions and lower the total costs of the repair job.
