Warranty Repairs

What are Warranty Repairs?

Sometimes things just don’t go to plan and unfortunately new or newish products experience problems and/or complete failures within a period in which the vendor provides warranty cover. Whilst the services provided to repair or replace a faulty unit are technically the same, it’s a matter of who performs (and ultimately pays for) the work required to get your equipment operational again.

In the event that the issue is deemed to be covered under warranty, the vendor and/or the supplier of the equipment will effectively cover all of the costs to get you operational again.

Whilst O’Connells undertakes the warranty work for units supplied and installed through our key vendor partners, we can also undertake repair work for vendors that are not commonly supplied by us. So, regardless of the vendor whose equipment you running, if you think you have a job that may be covered under warranty, give us a call and we can discuss the best way to help you move forward and get a resolution.

Types of Warranties

If you are experiencing problems with a unit that was supplied and fitted by the O’Connells team and it isn’t that old, give us a call to find out what warranty was provided as part of the solution and we’ll tell you if it is still within the warranty period. If it is, then we’ll work with yourselves and theĀ  vendor to provide a solution to the problem at hand.

If it is still within the warranty period, we’ll organise all of the repair through the vendor and/or supplier and you won’t see an invoice for this work.

If the unit is still within the warranty period but was supplied by someone else, the team at O’Connells will work with you and the vendor and/or supplier to make the repair works as pain free as possible. You might need to still pay an invoice at the end of the works, however we’ll advise on how to engage with your supplier to get these costs reimbursed.

Finally, if theĀ  equipment is no longer covered under warranty then we’ll still be happy to help, you’ll just need to pay our standard service fees. Have no idea about any of that? Then please give the O’Connells team a call to find out what your situaiton is and how we can help you today.
