In 2023, ownership of O’Connells Refrigeration & Air Conditioning changed hands with Dean Krant and Georgia Spence acquiring the business from the previous owners. Previously employed as a Qualified Refrigeration Technician, Dean took the opportunity to take on O’Connells when the previous owners opted to relocate to Tasmania and put the business up for sale.

Since then, Dean has made a smooth transition into the Managing Director role (still working as a Qualified Refrigeration Technician at the same time) whilst being supported by his partner Georgia. Georgia specialises in human resource management but is also adept at managing social media and a range of other business interests in and around the Albury-Wodonga Community.

As lifelong locals to the North East Victoria region, Dean & Georgia are committed to supporting the region and everything it has to offer. When they are not working, they can be found spending time with family and friends, spending time with Zeus (the Ocon Dog, see below), going camping, riding horses, riding motorcycles, four wheel driving and generally just enjoying the great outdoors.

Whilst O’Connells Refrigeration & Air Conditioning are the specialists in the North East Victoria region, they also extend their professional services well into the South East region of New South Wales (NSW). Based in Wodonga, the team services an area within a 100km radius of the office location in Mint Street, which takes in locations such as Corryong, Beechworth, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga, Albury, Tallangatta, Gerogery and a whole host of locations within this locale.

The team also services other locations outside this area however these jobs are handled on a case by case basis and additional costs for travel may apply.
